1. Scope and contact

This policy explains how About Kazakhstan processes information when you browse the site, contact us, subscribe, or follow a purchase or affiliate link. Questions and privacy requests can be sent toinfo@about-kazakhstan.com.

2. Information we process

• Contact and newsletter data: name, email address, selected topic and the message you choose to send.
• Security data: IP address, request headers, timestamps, rate-limit state and Turnstile verification results used to protect forms and infrastructure.
• Base traffic data: page path, referrer and basic browser/device signals processed through Google Tag Manager with analytics and advertising storage enabled from the first visit.
• Diagnostics data: interactions, pseudonymous identifiers, heatmaps and session-replay data processed from the first visit.
• Transaction attribution: sanitized product, payment status and campaign context received from the checkout provider. We do not ask you to send card numbers, CVV, bank-account numbers or one-time passwords through our forms.

3. Essential processing

Cloudflare provides hosting, network security, rate limiting and Turnstile form protection. Brevo processes contact/newsletter submissions that you initiate.

4. Analytics, advertising and third-party features

Google Tag Manager and the configured analytics, diagnostics and marketing services load from the first visit. Google analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are enabled before tag configuration:

• Behavior diagnostics: PostHog analytics and session replay, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Ahrefs Web Analytics.
• Optional features: Grow.me and similar third-party engagement tools.

Browser privacy controls, content blockers and disabled JavaScript may still prevent some measurement. Requests concerning stored personal data can be sent using the contact details below.

5. Purchases and affiliate links

Whop processes Trip Kit checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. Travelpayouts and individual travel partners may process information after you follow an affiliate link. About Kazakhstan may receive a commission or sanitized conversion report, but does not receive your full payment-card details.

6. Retention and security

We keep contact and newsletter records only while needed to provide the requested service, maintain subscription preferences, resolve disputes or meet applicable obligations. Security and analytics retention also depends on the configured provider settings. Access is restricted to the operator and authorized processors. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of personal data. Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe mechanism. Send a request toinfo@about-kazakhstan.com. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

8. External sites and policy changes

External sites control their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information. Material changes to this policy will receive a new fixed version date; the date is not automatically changed on every site build.
